SOAP MAKING WORKSHOP

Are you ready to dive into the world of handmade soap? Join us at Carleton Place Collective Inc. (www.carletonplacecollective.com) for an exciting hands-on workshop where you'll learn the basics of hot process soap making.

This workshop will begin with an introduction to the soap making process. Participants will be provided with an informative handout (which includes recipe) that they can keep for future reference. Safety measures will be explained and followed during the workshop. All participants will be provided with safety glasses, mask, and gloves.

Upon registering for the workshop, please include a note in the "note" field to indicate which scent you would like to use. You may choose from any one of the essential oil blends below (or you may request a custom scent):

1) Eucalyptus & Lavender
2) Lemongrass
3) Rosemary & Spearmint

Depending on the size of the group, you will be teamed up with one or two other participants to create a 2lb batch of soap. Each participant will go home with 2-3 bars of their own handmade soap!

Workshop is held at Carleton Place Collective Inc (155 Industrial Ave, Carleton Place -www.carletonplacecollective.com), which is just a 35-minute drive from Ottawa. This is a wheelchair accessible venue with lots of parking.

NB: We advise that participants wear long-sleeve tops.

There are no refunds for workshops unless they are cancelled or rescheduled on the part of the organizer. If you cannot attend your workshop, please provide at least 24hrs notice and your purchase will be deferred to another date.
